Analyst
Responsibilities
- Conduct due diligence and investigation to develop an understanding of the borrower’s profile, analyze and interpret financial data, assess the value of the underlying asset, as well as underwrite and fund commercial mortgage transactions
- The Analyst will prepare prequalification summaries, term sheets, credit presentations, commitment letters, buy sheets, gather and review conditions precedent and legal documents, and all such related matters to fund loans within tight deadlines
- Maintain ongoing interaction with clients, including performing site visits, and internal credit committee to ensure thorough underwriting and funding of the loan
- Staying current with market information and commercial mortgage market trends
- Build a network within the industry through meetings, events, and involvement in real estate trade organizations
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree, preferably with a focus in business or related field
- No minimum work experience in an underwriting role in Commercial Real Estate required
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Thrives under pressure and enjoys contributing to team goals with ability to manage multiple tasks with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Advanced level user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Passion for real estate combined with an understanding of financial analysis
Associate
Responsibilities
