Contact
My name is Pam Greenstein, and I am the People and Culture Lead. I partner with leaders to bring in the best talent in the industry; work with them 1:1 on a variety of topics such as how to provide performance feedback, deal with challenging situations, improve communication and team dynamics. I play the role of coach, to help increase their self-awareness and leadership skills.
Every day, I spend time with people individually and with teams to get a pulse on what’s going well and where we can improve. When I hear things about our business and people in real time, it provides a chance to thank people for their fantastic work, or have leaders share with the larger team as a “shout out” to celebrate success.
“My role is to guide our people to feel fulfilled with meaningful and purposeful work, to learn and collaborate every day, and feel recognized for their impact, on their peers, on the business and in the communities we serve.”
Peak Performance
I’m proud of all the incredible talent that we have brought into Peakhill since I joined a year ago. We were moving from start up to scale up, and at that time, had a dozen roles to fill. I got to work immediately with almost all leaders in the business. We grew our Loan Asset Management Team from 3 to 11, doubled our Funding Team, added 6 more staff to the Montreal office, so we are now at 12 people there, and hired 14 roles that were brand new. We’ve also hired a handful of people in Calgary, as we prepare to open an office there, and operate from coast to coast. In 2024, we hired a total of 53 employees. I’m extremely proud of our team and our amazing growth.

Peakhill in 3 Words
What is one book/podcast/TED talk that has recently made an impact on you?
A book that has recently made an impact on me is called “Everything is figure-outable” It’s written by a woman, and the idea is to become a force in your own life. Face your fears and find a better way forward. Nothing is that complicated, it’s how you look at things, change your mindset, deal with self-doubt, and make things happen. She provides tips to make you “unstoppable.” It was so inspiring, that I use that phrase at home and at work all the time.
What do you think makes Peakhill Capital an attractive place for top talent?
We are extremely entrepreneurial, a “roll up your sleeves” company. On day one, our employees begin learning and contributing to the business, working on deals. We do not have a formal training program here; people learn by doing, asking questions and figuring things out. That means we give a lot of leeway and trust our staff. They are empowered. And if they make mistakes, they learn from them in a supportive environment. We believe it’s very compelling. You won’t find that approach in our industry, or even other industries. Peakhill is a great place for those who want to learn, grow and make a big impact.
